Christ is centered on this panel, lifting up the bread and wine and giving thanks to God. On the far left are the vines full of grapes that are harvested to make the wine which Jesus chose to symbolize His blood, shed for our sins. On the far right is the sower who plants the seeds that are later harvested for flour to make the bread, which Jesus chose to symbolize His body, broken for us. Behind the figures lies the landscape of hills and town, which were the setting for Christ's sojourn on this earth.
